Prospect House Care Home

Prospect House provides accommodation and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia. The home accommodates up to 13 residents in one adapted building and was caring for 12 people at the time of inspection.

People feel safe and are cared for by staff who know them well. While some areas of care plans could include more detail to ensure all care needs are fully recorded, residents receive good care and are not negatively affected by this. Staff support people to take their medicines as prescribed, and the service benefits from strong support by the local GP service, ensuring residents have access to appointments and their medication is regularly reviewed.
