Priory Lodge

Priory Lodge is a residential care home in Essex providing accommodation and personal care for up to 15 people, including adults with mental health needs. Inspectors found continued breaches around safe care and treatment and governance, with gaps in risk management, inconsistent personalised care, and weak oversight of infection control and medication.

Previous concerns about person centred care and staffing had been addressed and were no longer breaches. Staff were found to be caring and respectful of people's privacy and dignity, and people and relatives told inspectors they felt safe and well cared for, though records did not always reflect this standard of care.
