About Preston

Heathcotes Preston is a residential care home in Lancashire providing specialist support for adults with learning disabilities, mental illness, and complex or challenging behaviours. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Heathcotes Preston is a specialist care home supporting up to seven adults with learning disabilities, mental illness, and complex or challenging behaviours. At inspection, three people lived at the service. The medium-sized house includes ensuite bedrooms, shared communal areas, and a kitchen.

The registered manager assesses potential residents before admission to ensure the environment suits their needs in relation to space, stimulation and independence. The home has been deliberately designed to blend into its surroundings, with no identifying signs, intercoms, cameras or industrial bins outside that would indicate it is a care home.

The service provides planned, person-centred support designed to help residents live full, meaningful lives with control, choice and independence. Staff work to ensure people receive appropriate and inclusive care tailored to their individual needs.
