Pinkneys Road

Pinkneys Road is a care home supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, following concerns about culture and people not always receiving care when needed. Inspectors found breaches relating to safeguarding, staffing and governance, including a bruise that had not been properly investigated and gaps in staff supervision and appraisals.

On a more positive note, the home was clean and well-maintained, with safe recruitment practices in place. Relatives and professionals said people were happy and treated with kindness, and families were involved in care planning. The provider has been asked to submit an action plan to address the shortfalls found.
