Parkview Care Home

This residential care home supports up to 10 people with complex or enduring mental health difficulties. At the time of inspection, five people were living at the service, with one receiving personal care support. The service has made notable improvements following previous inadequate ratings, with enhanced quality assurance and governance processes now in place. People living at the home spoke positively about their experience and reported feeling safe. Staff demonstrated warm interactions with residents and good knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Care plans have become more person-centred, focusing on individual needs and wishes. Staff expressed confidence in reporting safeguarding concerns, with the registered manager addressing matters robustly. However, some areas still require further development, including more thorough documentation of risks and their management, as well as improvements to the building's decoration. The service is working to embed these new processes consistently across all operations.
