Parkhill Nursing Home

This care home provides residential care and support for up to 38 people in an adapted Victorian property with bedrooms across three floors. At inspection, 28 people were using the service.

Staffing levels were insufficient to meet people's needs, and residents did not receive timely support. While improvements had been made to the building's furnishings and decoration, further improvements were needed in décor and infection prevention practices. Health and safety risks, including those related to accidents and incidents, were not always well managed, putting people at risk of harm. Recruitment processes also raised concerns and were not consistently safe.
