May Morning

May Morning provides support for a small number of people, including people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC found the home continues to be rated Good overall, with people protected from abuse, risks properly assessed, and enough suitably trained staff in place. People and relatives spoke positively about the care, describing a friendly atmosphere and staff who supported independence and choice.

Inspectors found people's needs were assessed, with consent sought wherever possible and advocates used to support those who lacked capacity. One area, how effectively care was delivered, was rated as requiring improvement, though overall the home was found to be safe, caring, responsive and well-led.
