Lovat House Residential Care

Lovat House Residential Care provides personal care to up to 25 older people in an adapted three-storey building. At inspection, 15 people were using the service.

The home's governance systems were not effective in overseeing the service or supporting its management. Staff, including agency workers, had not received appropriate training to carry out their roles safely and effectively. Supervisions and appraisals were not being conducted in line with the provider's policy to support staff development, though staff reported feeling supported in their work.
