Juniper House Residential Care Home

Juniper House provides personal care for up to 60 older people with physical disabilities and/or dementia across four purpose-built units. At inspection, 52 people were living at the home. While staff understood how to identify and respond to potential abuse, there were concerns about staffing levels. Inspectors were not assured the provider deployed sufficient numbers of staff to ensure people's safety and consistently meet their needs. The home had assessed and reviewed risks to residents, with plans in place to manage these. People received their medicines safely from trained staff.
