About Heatherwood Care Centre

Heatherwood Care Centre provides residential care to up to 23 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 14 people were using the service. The home recently transitioned from providing nursing care to residential care only.

People receive safe care with risks assessed and managed well. Staff complete safeguarding training during induction and annually. The registered manager reports allegations to the local authority safeguarding team and reviews lessons from safeguarding investigations, accidents, incidents and feedback to drive improvements.
