Heatherside Care Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 34 people aged 65 and over. The CQC found the service was performing well overall, rated Good, with clear systems in place to monitor safety incidents such as falls and drive improvements, including better lighting in identified areas of the home.

Inspectors found an open, transparent approach to safety events, with the provider following its duty of candour appropriately. People and relatives spoke positively about the care, feeling safe and listened to, with regular opportunities to give feedback through meetings and surveys that leaders used to guide improvements.
