About Haversham House

Haversham House is a residential care home in Worcestershire, supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent inspection.

Haversham House is a residential care home providing personal care to three people, with capacity for up to five residents. The service supports people with a learning disability and autistic people in a safe, clean, well-equipped environment that meets their sensory and physical needs.

Staff communicate with residents in ways that meet their individual needs and focus on their strengths to promote fulfilling, meaningful everyday lives. Residents are supported to have maximum choice and control, with staff using the least restrictive practices possible. The home works with people to plan for periods of distress, ensuring their freedoms are restricted only when there are no alternatives.

Staff record any incidents of restraint and learn from them to reduce future occurrences.
