Hartington Road Care Home

Hartington Road Care Home provides accommodation for up to eight people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. The home maintained strong infection control practices, ensuring plentiful supplies of personal protective equipment and updating cleaning products to meet current guidance. Staff received regular information and wellbeing support, while risk assessments protected people and vulnerable staff members.

The service provided health and wellbeing information in multiple formats including written and visual materials. Activities continued throughout the inspection period, adapted to in-house provision to reduce isolation. Visiting arrangements were carefully managed with safety measures in place, and professional health visits were well-planned with staff adhering to social distancing and regular disinfection of equipment. Social work reviews were conducted online.
