Haldane House Nursing Home

Haldane House Nursing Home is a nursing home providing personal care and support to people with a range of needs. The CQC rated the service as Requires Improvement overall, an improvement on its previous inadequate rating, and it is no longer in Special Measures. Inspectors found breaches relating to medicines management, recruitment checks and governance, with gaps in record keeping in these areas.

Despite this, the CQC found significant progress since the last inspection. Staff teamwork, communication and support for people had improved, with relatives and professionals reporting a better atmosphere. One relative said the home felt like "a home from home", reflecting improved care experiences overall.
