Forest Manor Care Home

Forest Manor Care Home is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to younger and older adults with needs related to dementia, mental health, physical disability or sensory impairment. It supported 41 people at the time of assessment and is now rated Good overall, a significant improvement following a previous Inadequate rating that had placed the home in Special Measures.

Inspectors found people were kept safe, treated kindly and supported with nutrition, healthcare and daily choices. Staff knew people well and worked positively with families. Some gaps remained, including limited detail in care plans, patchy activities and access to the garden, and end of life plans needing further development, but the provider had addressed earlier breaches and strengthened leadership and governance.
