Drakes Place

Drakes Place is a residential service across three houses, supporting up to 26 adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding a strong learning culture, enough well-trained staff, and effective systems for monitoring safety and quality of care.

Inspectors found staff knew people well and delivered personalised, kind and consistent care that respected choice and independence. People and relatives spoke positively about feeling safe and happy, and visiting professionals praised the person-centred approach. Leaders and staff shared a culture built on listening, learning and trust.
