Country Court

Country Court provides residential care to up to 34 older people with dementia, with 25 residents at the time of inspection. The home has systems in place to record, store and receive medicines, and staff receive training and support in medicine administration. However, information to support safe administration was not always readily available to staff. People reported feeling safe, and staff demonstrated good awareness of safeguarding procedures. Risk assessments were person-centred and provided adequate guidance for staff practice. The home maintained sufficient competent staffing levels with robust recruitment processes and appropriate checks in place.

The home was advised to improve engagement with families and friends, ensuring they are kept informed about the running of the service and their feedback is acted upon.
