Country Court is a care home providing accommodation and personal care for older adults, including people living with dementia. Inspectors found staff kind, respectful and attentive, with people saying they felt safe and well cared for. However, the CQC identified ongoing concerns around governance, risk management and care planning, with some risk assessments generic and infection control practices inconsistent.
The home has had no registered manager for over 18 months, and governance systems were not always effective at identifying and addressing issues promptly, a continued breach of regulations. Some previous breaches, including safeguarding and safe care, have now been resolved. Overall, the culture is caring, but leadership weaknesses mean the service cannot yet show consistent, high-quality care.
