Inspectors identified concerns about quality assurance systems failing to address shortfalls, with not all safeguarding concerns being appropriately reported to the local authority. People, relatives and staff raised concerns about staffing levels. Care plans and risk assessments were not consistently in place or up to date, and the provider had not informed CQC of all notifiable incidents as required.

The home manages medicines safely, with staff responding appropriately to accidents and incidents. Staff recruitment follows safe processes, and residents participate in interviewing potential staff members through a resident ambassador scheme.
