Balmoral Rest Home

Balmoral Rest Home provides care and accommodation for up to 32 older people, with 28 people living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC found the service had improved since its last inspection and was no longer in breach of regulations relating to safe care, safeguarding and governance. Some areas of the building needed attention, and the registered manager acted quickly to address risks identified.

Inspectors found a consistent, caring staff team who knew people well, though some feedback suggested more staff time was sometimes needed. People spoke warmly about the food, staff kindness and the registered manager, feeling safe, listened to and supported to make their own choices.
