Balmoral Rest Home

Balmoral Rest Home accommodates up to 32 older adults and provides residential care and personal support. At inspection, 28 people were using the service.

The home had significant safety concerns. Not all staff had completed essential training to keep people safe, and care records lacked accuracy. Where risks were identified, documented plans to manage these risks were missing. The inspectors also found issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the environment.

People were not consistently supported to make choices about their lives, and staff did not always support them in the least restrictive way possible or in accordance with their best interests.
