Chorley & South Ribble Short Break Services

Chorley & South Ribble Short Break Services provides short-term accommodation for up to four adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or sensory impairments who need support with personal care. Located in a residential area of Leyland, the service has made significant improvements since previous concerns were identified around medicine management, risk management, and safeguarding. The provider completed an action plan addressing these issues and demonstrated the necessary improvements during inspection.

The service now meets all current regulatory requirements, with the key areas of safe care and well-led management rated as good. Staff have strengthened their approach to controlling medicines, managing risks, and protecting residents from abuse and improper treatment.
