Chestnut Lodge

Chestnut Lodge provides nursing care for up to 64 older people across four units, currently supporting 61 residents including those at the end of their lives and people living with dementia. The home is operated by Minster Care Group. Residents and relatives spoke positively about the service, describing feeling safe with their needs well met. One resident said, "I would recommend it to anyone." Staff maintained personalised care and risk management plans that reflected individual needs and preferences, reviewing these regularly with input from people and their relatives. Staff safely managed people's medicines and the home recruited safely, with staff completing training to ensure they were competent in their roles.
