About Cherry Blossom

Cherry Blossom is a residential care home in Birmingham, providing personal care for younger adults with a learning disability and/or autism. Details of the most recent CQC assessment are set out below.

Cherry Blossom is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 6 younger adults with a learning disability and/or autism. This assessment was prompted by concerns about safeguarding and governance, and inspectors focused on those areas rather than reviewing the whole service. The CQC found the home performing well, with staff who understood how to protect people from harm and who knew residents well enough to provide personalised, dignified care.

Risks to people were properly identified and managed, and support was delivered in the least restrictive way possible. Leadership had improved since the last inspection, with effective systems now in place to monitor quality and safety. Staff felt valued and worked well with other professionals to achieve good outcomes for residents.
