This care home provides accommodation and personal care for up to nine people, with four spaces designated for respite care. At inspection, four people were living there. The home had implemented comprehensive infection control measures, including temperature checks and health questionnaires for staff on arrival, alongside regular provision of personal protective equipment with staff trained in its correct use. Visitors were required to take lateral flow tests before entry. The home maintained ample supplies of cleaning equipment and had increased cleaning frequency, particularly of frequently touched surfaces.

People were supported to maintain regular contact with families and friends through video calling and were encouraged to participate in activities they enjoyed with staff support. Regular testing was carried out for both residents and staff, with immediate isolation and testing for anyone showing COVID-19 symptoms. Due to the property's size, maintaining consistent social distancing was challenging, so the home reduced the number of people using the respite service simultaneously to mitigate infection transmission risks.
