Camberwell Lodge

Camberwell Lodge provides nursing care and personal support to younger adults, older people and those living with dementia, with capacity for 98 residents. At the time of inspection, 56 people were using the service.

Safety systems did not always protect residents effectively. Pressure relieving mattresses were set incorrectly, and wound dressing guidelines were not consistently followed, putting people's skin integrity at risk. Medicines management also fell short of safe practice standards. Residents, their relatives and staff expressed mixed concerns about safety and staffing levels throughout the home.
