Buckler's Lodge Care Home

This residential care home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 80 people, supporting older adults and those living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. At inspection, 17 people were using the service.

Inspectors found safeguarding incidents were not always investigated and managed effectively. Recruitment practices lacked robustness, with people reporting the service felt short staffed at times. The provider had not established effective oversight systems to ensure compliance with fundamental standards, meaning people were not always protected from the risk of harm.
