Boughton Lodge Care Home

Boughton Lodge Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 19 older people. The home previously required improvement, when inspectors found failures in managing risks, medicines, infection control and safeguarding, along with weak governance. Following the latest assessment, the CQC found these issues had been addressed and the home is now rated good overall.

People living at the home said they felt safe and comfortable with staff, who they described as caring and competent. Relatives felt able to raise concerns, and feedback was actively encouraged. Inspectors saw staff offering choice and time to residents, with good access to activities and community contact.
