Beechfields Nursing Home Limited

Beechfields Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care to up to 35 people, currently supporting 30 residents with older age, dementia, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments across two floors of an adapted building.

However, the home failed to adequately protect residents from harm and abuse. Safeguarding referrals were not submitted to the local authority as required, and incidents involving distressed behaviours were not properly investigated or managed to reduce their occurrence. Risk assessments were not consistently completed and medicines management was not always appropriate.
