Bankwood Care Home

Bankwood Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 40 people, with 32 residents receiving support at the time of inspection. The home features garden space and various internal communal areas for relaxation.

The home demonstrates good practice in maintaining clear communication about visiting arrangements and COVID-19 precautions through signage in reception and throughout the building. During summer, staff utilised the garden areas to facilitate outdoor visits and arranged glass window visits. The service was establishing an indoor visiting room with garden access and Perspex screening to support family contact.
