Badminton Place

Badminton Place is a purpose-built care home for up to 73 adults with physical, sensory or cognitive needs, including people living with dementia or with nursing needs. The CQC reviewed the service after concerns were raised and rated it good overall. Inspectors found people were kept safe, staff understood their needs well, and the environment supported their wellbeing.

Following earlier concerns, there had been changes to staff and management. Inspectors found the new team caring, motivated and well supported, with enough skilled staff and effective quality checks. People and relatives spoke positively about recent improvements, though one relative felt communication from staff had been insufficient.
