Ashwood - Ware

Ashwood in Ware provides accommodation for up to 64 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 61 residents were being cared for at the service.

The home had effective processes for managing visitors and displayed clear information about COVID-19 to residents and families. Staff engagement with people remained strong despite pandemic precautions, and activities were well-organised to help prevent loneliness and boredom. The provider had developed comprehensive policies, procedures and risk assessments for managing the service.
