Arbory Residential Home

This care home provides personal care to up to 60 people, most of whom are living with dementia. Accommodation is spread across two buildings: The Lodge, a converted older building with two floors, and The Court, a newer purpose-built facility with three floors, both featuring communal lounges, dining areas and gardens. At inspection, 39 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that risk assessments and monitoring remained inadequate, and staffing levels were insufficient to consistently meet people's needs. While staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding and how to protect people from harm, some incident reviews and investigations lacked thoroughness and missed learning opportunities. The home was not fully implementing legal frameworks regarding consent.
