Abraham House

The home accommodates up to 30 older people, including those living with dementia, across two floors with communal areas and secure gardens. At inspection, 28 people were living there. Staff provide safe, kind and attentive care, with good knowledge of residents' individual needs and wishes. People are protected from abuse and harm, receive medicines as prescribed, and have regular access to health professionals. The registered manager and staff maintain effective oversight of care practice and records, ensuring consistent, person-centred care that promotes residents' rights and wellbeing. Staff understand what matters to each person and respond accordingly. The team works effectively together, with staff feeling supported and valued in their roles.
