Abbeycroft Residential Care Home

This residential care home accommodates up to 33 people, predominantly older adults and those living with dementia. At inspection, 28 residents were in residence. People reported feeling safe and expressed satisfaction with the service provided.

Staff demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding procedures and how to protect people from harm or discrimination. Staffing levels were sufficient to meet residents' needs. However, the home lacked a dependency tool to systematically monitor whether staffing remained appropriately matched to changing care requirements. Inspectors identified shortfalls in risk management and governance systems that require attention.
