Ladywood

Ladywood provides personal and nursing care for up to 38 older people and those living with dementia, with 21 residents at the time of inspection. The home operates across two floors with communal spaces for dining, activities and relaxation.

The service was being managed by interim management with no registered manager in place. Inspectors found that the culture did not consistently promote positive person-centred care, and quality assurance systems, while present, did not always identify shortfalls in processes. The mealtime experience was not always positive for residents, and people did not always receive appropriate care in this area.
