The service maintains a safe culture, with relatives reporting significant improvements since the last inspection. Staff know how to keep people safe from harm, incidents are properly reported and reviewed, and learning from these events supports improved care practices.

Health needs are carefully managed through comprehensive assessments and care plans, with regular reviews involving GPs and other professionals. People receive their medicines as prescribed.

The home employs sufficient staff who feel supported and valued in their roles. Staff have received appropriate training to care for people with confidence and experience. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team supported residents well while following infection prevention guidance.

People are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches possible to enable their independence.
