Highgate Lodge Care Home

Highgate Lodge Care Home provides personal care to up to 24 older and younger adults, including people living with dementia and those with physical disabilities. At inspection, 17 people were using the service. People reported feeling safe with staff, who supported them with medication, eating and drinking, and personalised risk assessments. Staff had completed inductions and received ongoing training, with regular competency checks for medication administration. The home worked with other health professionals when needed and conducted pre-admission assessments for new residents, involving families where appropriate. Staff demonstrated understanding of infection control measures to protect people's wellbeing.
