Inspectors found that the home maintained good cleaning standards with documented schedules for cleaning high touch surfaces, and communal areas were arranged to support social distancing.

The service had procedures in place for safe visiting, including visitor screening and rapid response lateral flow tests before entry, with personal protective equipment provided to visitors. However, inspectors noted this procedure had not been fully followed during a family visit before the inspection, and the registered manager committed to ensuring consistent adherence going forward. People were supported to safely access work placements and other activities they enjoyed.
