Hampton Court

Hampton Court provides accommodation and personal care for up to 26 older people and those living with dementia in a single adapted building. At inspection, 23 residents were living at the home.

However, significant concerns were identified regarding medicines management. Medicines were not always stored safely, and stock control was not robust. Covert medicines—given without residents' knowledge—were not consistently administered safely. Risk management processes were insufficient, with staff lacking access to information needed to support people safely. Some care records required updating during the inspection.

Infection control procedures were not consistently followed throughout the home, and cleanliness standards were not maintained. Cleaning schedules were found to be inadequate to ensure a safe environment for residents.
