Fessey House provides personal and nursing care to 32 people in four colour-coded units, each with its own kitchenette, dining area and sitting area. The home is thoughtfully decorated to feel like residents' own homes, with colour coordination helping people navigate independently. Staff demonstrated an exceptionally strong ethos of treating people with dignity and respect, valuing them as individuals and involving them as partners in their care.

The service has made significant improvements since the last inspection and is designed around people's needs and wishes, using innovative approaches to support independence. Inspectors received exceptional feedback about how staff went the extra mile to ensure care was tailored to each person. Residents were observed easily and freely navigating around the home independently, reflecting the home's commitment to promoting autonomy and wellbeing.
