Cumberland

Cumberland is a care home in two ground floor suites, providing nursing and personal care to up to 56 older adults, including people living with dementia. At the time of the assessment 37 people lived there. The CQC rated the service good overall, finding that previous recommendations around medicines management and social activities had been met.

Inspectors found staff managed risks well, kept people safe and supported them with kindness, dignity and choice. People and relatives spoke positively about the care received and felt confident raising concerns. Leadership was described as visible, supportive and open to feedback, with a strong culture of learning and continuous improvement.
