Charles Davies House Residential Care

Charles Davies House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 13 people with mental health conditions. During the inspection, all 13 registered places were occupied. The service had implemented comprehensive infection prevention measures including visitor testing, PPE requirements, and strict admission protocols that required negative COVID-19 tests and self-isolation periods. Staff were tested three times weekly and residents at least every 28 days, with isolation procedures for positive cases. The home maintained good PPE supplies for both staff and visitors, and employed a dedicated domestic team supported by staff to clean throughout the day, with particular attention to high-touch surfaces like door handles and light switches. All staff received training in proper PPE use.
