Could the NHS fund New Tyne's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
New Tyne provides care for up to 20 people with dementia or suspected dementia, currently supporting 9 residents. The single-purpose built residence offers individual rooms with private toilets and access to shared bathrooms.
Staff actively supported residents to maintain contact with family and friends through telephone and internet access. The home facilitated in-person visits in ways that minimised infection risks, including outdoor visits and visits through patio doors in ground floor rooms.
